(Fulldome animation) |
runtime 30 minutes
On commision for the APLF (French Planetarium Association) and ESO (European Southern Observatory), Mirage3D produces the ALMA fulldome video planetarium show. A 30 minute show featuring ESO's very large array of radio telescopes which is being built in the high Atacama desert in Chili. Once's operational this array of telescopes is able to look further back in time towards the origins of the universe. As well ALMA will try to look for protoplanetary disks, which are currently obscured and can only been detected within the submillimeter wavelengths that ALMA will be able to recieve. Mirage3D is responsible for all visuals and the soundtrack of the ALMA show. The APLF/ESO wrote the script. |
